In yet another twist in the affair that has gripped Indonesia for the past 3 months and has started to be see light in the local press in Malaysia,
A long battle legal battle may be on the way in the Manohara Pinot versus Kelantan Palace affair that may end into the forced dissolution of the marriage between the popular Indonesian beauty and the secretive Prince Fakhry. The Palace has made it clear that there will be no easy way out for Manohara and expect this affair to create tension in Jakarta.
Prince Fakhry’s personal friend and acting Palace spokesperson businessman Mohd Soberi Safii said to the Indonesian press on Monday that it is improbable for the prince to grant Manohara divorce.
He said Manohara was free to ask for divorce from the Prince but if that was to happen, Manohara should not think of coming back to the Prince who loved her very much. Meanwhile, Manohara said in Indonesia that she will be filing for a divorce and did not mention anything about seeking the husband’s forgiveness in order for him to take her back as suggested by Soberi.
In yet another twist in the affair that has gripped Indonesia for the past 3 months and has started to be see light in the local press in Malaysia, the Palace in Kelantan seems ready for a long and tough battle to make life impossible for Manohara, said commentators in Jakarta.
“I will give all guarantees if Deasy Fajarina (Manohara’s Mother) and Manohara want to make a police report in Malaysia on the alleged abuses. Please come forward and do it. We guarantee nothing will happen. We too, we want justice in this,” he said, while launching the dare to report in Malaysia challenge.
Locals in Jakarta says the daring challenge by the businessman came too late as Manohara was forced to run away from the husband in a brawl that has cost the Kelantan Palace more harm than good. The escape of Manohara involved the Indonesian and US embassies and the Singapore police while many people seemed to have witnessed attempts by doctors to drug the Indonesian beauty in public at a hotel in Singapore.
“If they want to make the police report in Indonesia and do a medical test there too, welcome. But please get a specialist so that the results of the medical test is not tainted,” Soberi advised.
“Manohara has said before to the Indonesian press that she has pictures of the bruises done by her husband on her body. Please tell us to which police station and which police officer she made the report,” he said in a trial by the press against Manohara.
“We will help the police to carry out their job. We would not allow that they just make statements regarding reports to the police,” he added in a high tone.
According to Soberi, Manohara was allowed to leave with the blessings of her husband and did not ran away. In a slip of the tongue, he said Manohara would not have had a chance to leave without her bag and clothing as the entourage of the Prince would have noticed she was up to something.
It is indicative that Manohara was indeed under surveillance by the entourage of the prince and that they knew she wanted to fly out of the coo coo’s nest at any given time.
Soberi said Manohara’s mother was allowed to visit the mother of the Prince on the 3rd Floor of the hotel but she instead met with Manohara in room 314 and locked herself with her daughter until 3 am in the morning. She was with the representatives of the American and indonesian embassies in Singapore and was also accompanied by the Singapore police.
Which again indicates there was difficulty for the Indonesian princess to leave the sight of her husband and his entourage, states several observers concerned by the affair. They also told WFOL.TV that the mother would not have brought the police and the embassy personnel and Mr Soberi would not have mentioned that Manohara was allowed to leave after ‘negotiations’ betwen Palace officials and the embassy officials in the presence of the police.
